Hide Totals by Class with Subclass

Q: How do I hide subclasses in reports yet include their data in the top level class? I have multiple rental properties as classes and their units as subclasses and need a report by top level class only.

Any modifications I have tried gives me all or nothing and my number of total classes including subs is too large for export to excel.

A: Consider the setting up the properties and units differently. Then you can filter the report by Customer:Job.

QuickBooks does not allow you the option to hide the totals for each Class. Best way is to export your report into excel and then delete or hide the columns.
