The Year-End Guide

The Year-End Guide is another window I would add to my Favorites menu. Similar to the Alerts Manager, it provides a list of important business tasks that need to be performed at the end of each business year. These tasks will not appear as a reminder but it is always available to you under the Help menu. The Year-End Guide lists tasks related to filing taxes, 1099s, and W-2s. Clicking each link opens QuickBooks Help and provides step-by-step instructions to complete the task. You can also check each task as they are completed.
