In the General preferences tab, there are only a few options under the Company Preferences tab. Though they are few,
these options are important to know about as they affect the viewing options of the company for all users in QuickBooks.

The General Preferences tab is home to all of the basic options that help you move more easily around QuickBooks. This post will be covering part of the My Preferences tab, which has most of the options.

The Finance Charge preferences are a collection of options that have to do with the interest rates and charges that come with customers who are late on their payments.
Because this is a company wide setting, there are no options in the My Preferences tab, only the Company Preferences tab. Continue reading
