The Time and Expenses section allows QuickBooks administrators to change time tracking
options to best meet the needs of their company. Here is a run down of the options listed in the Company Preferences tab, which is the only tab that contains options for this section.
This section is only for 1099-MISC forms. If you do not use these forms, you do not need to use
the Tax 1099 section, unless you need to turn the fields off. Here are the options that you can change in this section.
QuickBooks has a great spell check feature that is very customizable. Since spell check options are more of a personal preference, the Spelling section only has options in the My
Preferences tab.
QuickBooks has been steadily adding more and more connection options for the internet. From
the Service Connection section of the QuickBooks preferences window, you can manage many of the options related to internet connections.
In the Company Preferences tab of the Send Forms section of QuickBooks preferences,
company administrators can set up default E-mails to clients for things such as invoices, estimates, statements, and much more. Here are some of the options available.
QuickBooks makes it fast and easy to send invoices and other forms to clients. The options 
in the Send Forms section help you to easily send out these forms right from QuickBooks. Today we will examine the options in My Preferences.
