The Company Preferences tab of the Sales and Customers contains options that affect

customers, so this section should not be taken lightly. Here is a breakdown of all the options that QuickBooks offers.

• Sales Forms
  • Usual Shipping Method
    • Select your usual shipping method from the drop-down. if it is not listed, you can add it by selecting < Add New >.
  • Usual FOB
    • Enter in your usual Free on Board terms
  • Warn about Duplicate Invoice Numbers
    • This will display a warning when you try to enter an invoice number of Sales and Customers that is already in the system.
• Choose a Template for Invoice Packing Slip
  • This lets you choose a packing slip that best fits your company from a drop-down list of templates provided by Intuit.
