Today we will be covering more options that are available in the Payroll and Expenses section of the QuickBooks preferences window. Click here if you missed part 1.

  • Copy Earnings Details from Previous Paycheck
    • Turn on this option if you would like a running total of an employee’s paycheck details to print with each paycheck.
  • Recall Quantity Fields on Paychecks
    • If you have any quantity fields on your paychecks, you may choose to turn this option on to have them print out with each check.
  • Recall Hour Field on Paychecks
    • When entering a paycheck, QuickBooks will automatically recall the last amount of hours the employee worked and put it into the new paycheck.
