Save a Backup Copy of your QuickBooks File

How to save the backup copy? Now that you know what a backup is and you have determined how often you need to back up your QuickBooks file. Let’s learn how to do it.

File > Create Backup

Select Local Backup if you will save the backup on a USB, CD, or a folder on your computer

Select Online Backup if you will save the backup copy online with Intuit Data Protect or another online hosting site.

Select Save it Now to Save the backup in the specified location

If you would also like to schedule a future backup. Select either Save it Now and Schedule Future Backups or Only Schedule Future backups
