Create reports for HUD budgets in QuickBooks

Q: I am using QB Pro 2010 for a Property Management company and they have required HUD budgets and reports that need to be completed. Can they be imported into QuickBooks and implemented into our company file?

A: You can definitely view budgets and reports required for HUD budgets within QuickBooks. It all depends on how your QuickBooks file is set-up with using items, chart of accounts, and other lists.

We worked with a few clients who were happy with QuickBooks budgets and reports. Some preferred viewing reports and then manually writing the figures on the HUD form provided by the authority.
