QuickBooks Multiple Currencies

As you can tell by the title of the section, QuickBooks Multiple Currencies holds the options that have to do with dealing with more than one currency. Here are some details you should know about this screen and its options.

  • Track QuickBooks Multiple Currencies in this Company File
    • There are two options here, and the default is set to “No” If you use multiple currencies, set the option to “Yes”, but be aware that once you turn on this option you cannot turn it off.
  • Select the home currency you use in transactions
    • This is only available if the first option is set to “Yes”. From this drop-down, you can choose your main currency. If you do not see your main currency in the drop-down, you can search for it by selecting  <View More Currencies> in the drop-down menu.
