Welcome to what we are calling our “QuickBooks Preferences Series.” Editing preferences within QuickBooks will help you be more efficient, as you’ll be able to customize settings based on the items you use most often. Additionally, you’ll be able to set up QuickBooks to suit the needs of your business.

For reference, we will be using QuickBooks 2012 – Accountant Edition. To access the preferences window, open QuickBooks and choose Edit ->Preferences.
